With that in mind, read on below for a few more of the do’s and don’ts when waiting on a tow truck to come tow you to our shop, so that we can fix your transmission the right way.

DO Signal to Other Drivers You Aren’t Moving

Even if you are stranded during the day, you need to make sure and turn on your hazard lights. This is the best way for other motorists to see you and know that you aren’t moving. It will signal to other drivers that you aren’t moving and let them see you, especially at night.

DON’T Leave Your Stuff Unattended

If you don’t want your personal items to get stolen, then if you decide not to stay with your car, take them with you. This includes things like your purse, cell phone, insurance papers, and anything else that is important to you. Gather them with you and take them home. Making sure to take all your stuff with you will give you the peace of mind of knowing that your items are secure.

These are just a few more of the do’s and don’ts of waiting on a tow truck to come tow your car if you have car trouble. The best way to prevent this from happening to you is by making sure to bring your car into Twin Transmission for repairs if you think something is going on. In part three, we will go into a couple more do’s and don’ts. See you there!
